Entitlement
At Gardners Lane we follow the requirements of the National Curriculum (2014), which state that all pupils should be given opportunities to investigate the quality of their physical and human environment, develop geographical skills and extend their knowledge of place.
We aim to deliver lessons thematically, selecting three whole school themes each year. It is the class teachers’ responsibility to ensure Programmes of Study are carefully chosen to ensure that, as a school, we are meeting the National Curriculum criteria across all year groups.
