Wednesday 15th June

And we’re off!! Next stop Ludlow for lunch.

What lovely weather for our picnic and walk around Ludlow castle! Next stop... Manor Adventure.

We've managed to unpack and now enjoying our first activities; underground maze and archery. After dinner we have fencing and blind trail to look forward to.

Great choices for dinner tonight or Beef stir fry, Chinese pork, and chicken or vegatarian  jalfrezi with a chocolate or blueberry muffin for desert. The teachers will be making a supper of fruit, biscuits orange and blackcurrant squash.

Wow, what a great first day we’ve had, all in bed now, not necessarily asleep, but ready to recharge our batteries for tomorrow.

Thursday 16th June

A slightly early Monday afternoon morning wake-up calls this morning at 6:45, ready for breakfast a 7:30 breakfast. Luckily the teacher’s rendition of 'Morning has broken', made the waking up more bearable. We now have full bellies again from the cooked breakfast, toast and cereal and now enjoying our first activity of archery and obstacle course out in the sun. Unfortunately, the course is a little dry, good job Miss Taylor and Mrs O'Brien have found a bucket of water!

A great lunch today of jacket potatoes with cheese, ham or tuna, pasta and plenty of salad to fill our hungry bellies up ready for the afternoon. We have blind trail and underground maze. For some reason little rain clouds kept following Mrs Gilson-Clarkes and Mr Bray and Miss Parsons group around the blind trail… apparently it wasn’t really helping the children… in their opinion.

We’ve just had a lovely BBQ tea tonight of burgers, sausages and chicken, followed by an ice-cream. Now time for our last activity of the day, low ropes and abseiling. Tonight it will be a supper of hot chocolate and cookies after we have packed our bags ready to leave tomorrow.

Friday 17th June

Another cooked breakfast today of sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, beans and tomatoes and plenty of toast, followed by cereal and fruit. We now have full bellies to help up take our suitcases up the hill ready to be packed on the bus while we have our last activities of the day, Canoe and Kayaking.

We loved the Canoe and Kayaking today, luckily Mrs Gilson-Clarke was on hand with a paddle to help cool us down! Unfortunately, Miss Taylor managed to go into the lake, slightly helped by the instructors.

Pizza, fish finger and vegetable empanadas were on the menu today for lunch. We are all sad to be saying good-bye to the Manor, however we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and overcome some fears. Our teachers are very proud of each and every one of us!
