All About Reception

Reception year is a time of great change for both children and their parents. It is a very exciting time for children and we have a lot of experience in helping them adjust to school life.

Term 1 and 2

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow...

In Reception this term, we will be having lots of new and exciting experiences as we begin our journey in school!
These will include learning how to read and write, experiencing a range of maths-based activities and celebrating what we can do now that we couldn’t do when we were a baby!

Term 3 and 4

Out of this World...

Our theme this term is Pirates!
During the Spring term we will be learning all about pirates!
We will be learning to tell a pirate story, singing a sea shanty, making maps and hats and finding out our pirate name!
