Class 4
All About Year 1 and 2
In Year 1 children move from the Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. We continue to build upon the progress the children have made during their Reception year and to encourage greater independence in subtle ways.
Year 2 is a very important final year in Key Stage 1. We continue to build on the children's progress and help prepare them for life in Key Stage 2 and the Juniors.
Term 1 and 2
Out of this World...
This term Year 1 and 2 – Classes 3, 4 and 5 are going ‘Out of This World’ and into the Land of Make Believe
We will be finding out about fairy tales, including Jack and the Beanstalk and The Enormous Turnip. We will be using these stories to help us think about how we can help plants grow and learn about animals and humans.
